Has Lenovo really discontinued the "MultiView + MultiTouch" LCD screen for its ThinkPad X61 Tablet?

I ordered a Lenovo ThinkPad X61 Tablet a month ago at an incredible half-off discount. That promotion went so well that Lenovo had to halt it on the same day. A few weeks later, Lenovo emailed me to give me two options: either downgrade to the non-touch-screen display or have my order cancelled. I gave in and agreed to downgrade the display. However, Lenovo website is still offering the "MultiView + MultiTouch" display option for that very same product today! Did Lenovo lie to me about the availability of the "MultiView + MultiTouch" screen? The email said it was no longer available and a customer service rep said it was discontinued. I now have a bitter taste in my mouth ...

I think that was an error on their web descriptions. The X61T has never had a touch or multi-touch screen. That is a feature on the newest X200 model TabletPC.

planning to buy a laptop and wonding if Lenovo ThinkPad X61 could be for students?

i knw about the R61 but i liked the look of this one..if any university/college student has used either one..please let me knw..im trying to compare which one would be more compatible for student needs..zanks in advance!!

u should get a hp tx2500z if thinking about the IBM. hps cost less and the tx2500z is a touchscreen with AMD Turion Ultra 64 x2 processor. if you get the best options it will cost about $1400 still a lot cheaper than IBM Lenovos and theyre better looking too.

How do I stop the erractic movement of my mouse cursor on my Sony Vaio SZ series laptop?

Try to adjust the mouse settings. For Windows XP Go into your Control Panel by first clicking on the Start Button. Then click on the Control Panel icon located in the right column of the Start Menu. If your Start Menu is set to the Classic View, then begin by clicking on the Start Button. Then click on Settings, then click on the Control Panel icon to open up the Control Panel. Now, Double click on the Mouse icon to open up the Mouse Properties window. Then click on the Pointer Options Tab located at the top of the screen. Drag the Slider bar left to make the pointer move slower or right to make it move faster. Place a check mark in the box next to Enhance pointer precision. This will give you better control of the pointer when moving short distances. If you want to enable pointer trails, place a check mark next to Display pointer trails. You can also Automatically move pointer to the default button in a dialog box as well. And Hide pointer while typing and Show location of pointer if the CTRL key is pressed. Enable these options according to your personal preference. If you want to swap the buttons, click on the Buttons Tab at the top of the screen. Then place a check mark next to Switch primary and secondary buttons. You can also adjust the Double click speed and Turn on the Clicklock dragging option. Then click the OK button to save your settings and exit the Mouse Properties window. Then close the Control Panel to return back to your Windows session

Of ram? well technicly all mac OS are 64bit so atleast up to 16gb or 128GB i cant remember witch but either way its more ram than you could possibly put in its SODIMM slot.

I just use a microfibre cloth. Very slightly damp to begin with and then dry. Works fine on my macbook and screen.

Why do I keep losing connection to the internet?

Every time I go on my laptop (Lenovo 3000 N200 Type 0769) and go on the internet, I will lose my connection randomly and my computer will basically freeze until I turn off the wireless capability switch on the front of the laptop. What should I do to stop this from happening?

HELP! A major problem! About driver and application restore disc of fujitsu?

My laptop is fujitsu a6025 lifebook series. And I reformatted my computer. After that, I want to restore my applications like (bluetooth, shocksensor, etc.) BUT, when I ran the setup, it says wrong model, cannot proceed, and when I looked at the disc, it says a6000! f***! my computer is clean but no programs at all! what should i do! im from philippines and my laptop was bought from USA! HELP!

did you use the original cd to install the windows? (oem version) if not, probably you will be getting an error like that.. the best thing to do now is go th their website and download the software for each of the device, like for bluetooth, webcam and the ultities etc. hope this helps

I just bought a 40 GB Apple iBook G4 and I was wondering can you run the new CS4 on it?

This is my first mac and I dont know much about them, so I am hoping that I didnt mess up. Will the iBook G4 support the new CS4? I need some help, Thanks.

Sorry to break the bad news but... Adobe CS4 requires among other things a: PowerPC® G5 or multicore Intel® processor [and you have a G4 - so it will not run on your mac - end of story] and even if you were able to install it - it would run really slow. CS4 are really intensive programs that require a lot of computing power. A word of advice: if in the future you want to buy another computer, always make sure that the system specifications of the computer a better/greater than the system requirements of the software that you want to run on it.
